WATERLOO — Rosemary W. Brinkman, 90, of Waterloo, formerly of Pensacola, Fla., died Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Lakeview Landing of Friendship Village of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 31, 1920, in Jacksonville, Fla., daughter of John L. and Beatrice Wieneke Williams. She married Thomas Brinkman on Aug. 26, 1944, in Akron, Ohio. He died April 23, 1990.

Mrs. Brinkman received post high school training in drafting. She was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish, Pensacola, and the Pensacola Garden Club.

Survived by two sons, Tom and Bill (Carol), both of Pensacola; two daughters, Joy Ann Brinkman of Pensacola and Mary Margaret (Jeff) Halverson of Waterloo; and six grandchildren, Jake Montgomery, Matt Brinkman, Allysen Brinkman, Blair Halverson, Adam Halverson and Jenna Halverson.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Dain Brinkman; a sister, Joan Williams; and a brother, Jack Williams.

Family-directed memorial services: 6 p.m. Monday at Nazareth Lutheran Church chapel, Waterloo, with inurnment in Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery, Pensacola. The family will greet friends following the memorial service at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
