Rites for Hudson
Man Thursday

HUDSON — Funeral services for Fred Gutknecht, 64, who was found dead in his bed Monday, will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church west of Hudson, preceded by a prayer service at 1:30 at the Dahl Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. The family requests no flowers.

Mr. Gutknecht was a lifelong resident of Black Hawk County and farmed three and a half miles north of Hudson. He was manager of the-telephone company here.

Surviving are his wife and two sons.
