ELK RUN HEIGHTS — Annabell R. Torsrud, 82, of Elk Run Heights, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of natural causes.

She was born April 24, 1928, in Littleport, daughter of William and Henrietta Wick Andermann. She married Lester Torsrud, and they later divorced

Ms. Torsrud graduated from Elkader High School and attended beauty school in Waterloo. She was a beautician at Black’s and later provided in-home companion care.

Survived by a daughter, Debra Torsrud of Elk Run Heights; three grandchildren, Chad (Nadine) Torsrud of Sumner and Amy and Todd Torsrud, both of Orlando, Fla.; a half sister, Nita Beeh of Strawberry Point; and companions, Molly and Cinder.

Preceded in death by a son, Robert.

Family-directed memorial services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Raymond United Methodist Church, with burial later in the spring in Union Cemetery, rural Aurora. Visitation an hour before services Saturday at the church.
