WATERLOO - Robert Woodard Dotson, 73, of Beaver Dam, Ky., formerly of Waterloo, died at home Sunday, Feb. 6.

He was born Nov. 23, 1937, in Waterloo, son of William and Violet Irish Dotson.

Mr. Dotson was a member of the Echols Church of God, a U.S. Army veteran, and a retired fork lift driver with John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works.

Survived by his wife, Mary; five sons, Wesley (Christine) Dotson of Minot, N.D., Dwight Dotson of Nashville, Tenn., John Mark (Okcha) Sickels of Atlanta, and Randy Sickels and Hugh Dotson, both of Beaver Dam; a daughter, Ruth Ann Hughes, (Rod) of Huntsville, Ky.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Danielson of Cedar Falls.

Services were Feb. 10 at William L. Danks Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, with burial in Echols Cemetery, Echols, Ky.
