RAYMOND - Frank A. Cain, 89, of Long Beach, California, formerly of Raymond, died Tuesday, March 16, in California of cancer.

He was born April 19, 1920, in Shell Rock, son of Roy Walter and Albina Cain. He married Helen Muriel in Long Beach. She died in 1997.

Mr. Cain graduated from Shell Rock High School. He served in the U.S. Army and fought in many battles in the invasion of France and Belgium during World War II. He was an electrician by trade.

Survived by two daughters, Muriel Peterson of Eugene, Ore., and Audrey Jordon of Pinion Hills, Calif.; and two sisters, Lola Gerholdt of Raymond and Shirley Michel of Lakeland, Fla.

Burial: was in Forest Lawn Sunnyside, Long Beach
