CEDAR FALLS - Betty Lillian Glasener, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

She was born Feb. 3, 1919, in Des Moines, daughter of Eldred and Evelyn F. Irwin Greever. She married Howard Minish Glasener on Nov. 16, 1938, in Colorado Springs, Colo. He died Oct. 1, 1997.

Mrs. Glasener attended Iowa State Teachers College (now the University of Northern Iowa) and was employed as a nurse's aide at Sartori Memorial Hospital, then with Dr. Penley, and later with Dr. Ceilley.

Survived by: a daughter, Dixie (Duane) Christian of Dysart; three sons, Robert (Karen) of Osceola and David (Cindy) and Burton (Holly), both of Cedar Falls; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a daughter, Lydia Jane Glasener; three sisters, Lu Huffaker, Jane Brewbaker Owen and Irene Jacobs; and three brothers, Frank and Tom Greever and John Robert Kidman.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with burial in Spencer Cemetery, Buckingham. Public visitation for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
