WATERLOO — Edna Flack, 95, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Jan. 1, at ManorCare Health Services of natural causes.

She was born July 20, 1915, in Stockport, daughter of Frank and Sarah Ankrom DeWitt. She married Burnell L. Flack on July 15, 1935. He died Aug. 16, 1967.

Mrs. Flack graduated from Stockport High School in 1932, then attended cosmetology school in Des Moines. She worked as a cosmetologist for many years in the Osage and Waterloo areas. She also worked in health care as an aide and later as an in-home health caretaker.

Survived by; a son, Ed (Gail Stachovic) of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Patricia (Mike) Plueger of Anamosa; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by two sons, Franklyn and James; four brothers, Edwin, Wallace, Harry and Oran "Pug" DeWitt; and three sisters, Opha Peters, Bonnie Watson and Effie White.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, preceded by an hour of visitation. Burial will be in Waterloo Cemetery. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to Iowa Hospice.
