CEDAR FALLS — Raymond Corliss McMullen, 83, of Cedar Falls, died at home Sunday, Jan. 2.

He was born Jan. 27, 1927, in Waterloo, son of Ray C. and Vivian Lyle Armstrong McMullen. He married Rosalee I. Bass on June 30, 1951, in New Hartford.

Mr. McMullen served in the U.S. Army and was employed in accounting with Sun Oil Co. for 26 years. He then became employed as financial manager for the city of Iowa Falls, retiring in 1991.

Survived by: his wife; a son, Michael (Colette) of Atwood, Ill.; a daughter, Jodie (Douglas) Bonwell of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren, Heather (Nelson) Miller, Dawn (Tyler) Boddy, Stacy McMullen and Courtney, Clayton and Benjamin Bonwell; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Philip (Katie) of Remer, Minn.; a sister, Lou Ella McMullen of Dubuque; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Elsie Weigman of Allison, Lucille Bass of New Hartford, Roger and Kay Masters of Cedar Falls and Alden Davidson of Plainfield.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Walter.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
