HAYS, COOK, ROSSI, HENDRY, CAMPBELL, REINTZ, HAMILTON

Hudson — Mrs. Clark £. Hays, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter here, Mrs. Owen Campbell. She suffered a stroke Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Hays had made their home here for the last four years with their daughter, coming here from Waterloo, where Mr. Hays had been in the coal business.

Nee Verna Cook, daughter of Banner and Eva Cook, was born December 29, 1879, at Hudson, Michigan. She moved with her parents to Martinsville, Illinois. She married Charles Hendry about 49 years ago at Brockton, Illinois. Mr. Hendry died in 1921 in California. Mrs. Hendry was married August 3, 1930 in the Little Brown Church at Nashua, to Clark E. Hayes.

She leaves her husband; two sons, Al Hendry, in Florida; three daughters, Mrs. Wayne Hamilton, Waverly; Mrs. William Reintz, 326 Saxton Street, Waterloo, and Mrs. Cambell; eight grandchildren, and a brother, Bert Cook, Martinsville, Illinois.

A daughter, Mrs. John Rossi, of Des Moines, died in 1928.

The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Community Church, Hudson, by Reverend Harvey Moon, pastor. There will be a prayer service at the Cambell residence at 2:15 p.m. Friday; the body will be taken from the Locke Funeral Home in Waterloo at 12:30 p.m. on that day to the church.
