CEDAR FALLS - Joseph De Martino, 74, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Western Home Communities Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center.

He was born Dec. 5, 1936, in Madison, Wis., son of Joseph and Iona Mc Fadden De Martino. He married Yvonne Morrison in 1955, and they later divorced.

Mr. De Martino was a deputy sheriff in Black Hawk County for many years and also worked for John Deere in the tool and die department, retiring in 1993.

Survived by: three daughters, Vikki (Dana) Cooke and Gina (Jon) Voigt, both of Cedar Falls, and Angela Kettman of Denver; a son, Jeffrey of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Rose Marie De Martino of Waverly.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with inurnment at a later date in Resurrection Cemetery, Madison, Wis. Public visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
