CEDAR FALLS — Donald Wolfe "Spark" Annett, 60, of Radcliffe, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Dec. 25, at Israel Family Hospice House, Ames, of cancer.

He was born Jan. 27, 1950, in Rockford, Ill., son of Donald A. Annett and Patsy A. Wolfe Annett. He married Miriam Susan Stickwell on Nov. 15, 1969. They later divorced. He married Christine L. Hendries on May 12, 1979. They later divorced.

He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1969 and was a sales manager at NAPA Auto Parts. He was a self-employed contractor for several years. He graduated from Iowa Central Community College in 1987 and was a member of the "Who's Who" of college students.

Survived by: a son, Donald Enoch Rogers of Wellsville, Kan.; a daughter, Catherine Ann Annett-Neslage (Joe) of Wellsville, Kan.; his mother, Patsy Ann Wolfe-Combs; his stepfather, Richard Combs of Union; his stepmother, Gail Barbara Annett of Arp, Texas; an aunt, Vallerin Jenkins of Briggsville, Wis.; three brothers, Frank (Sandy) Annett of Cambridge, Enoch "Nick" (Rosaura) Higbee of Union and Mark (Amy) Annett of Tyler, Texas; five sisters, Valeri (Philip) Ogg of New Hampton, Lizella (Raymond) Perry of Des Moines, Patricia (Traelie) Annett-Jaeger of Cedar Rapids, Mary Bo (Bill Hendries) Higbee-Hardee of Union and Eadwina (Donald) Combs of Ellsworth; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his father, Donald Annett; his stepfather, Enoch "Ed" Higbee; and his companion, Sue Ellen Kimble.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Radcliffe. Boeke Funeral Home of Radcliffe is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to the family.

Donald enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, playing guitar and his friends and family. He had a special gift of drawing that he shared.
