CEDAR FALLS - Gene W. Crisman, 75, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

He was born Nov. 4, 1935, in Duluth, Minn., son of Bernard and Lavina Lamb Crisman. He married Marcia Renner on May 11, 1957, in Mason City, and they were later divorced. He married Jean Pierce on Sept. 15, 2001, at Geneseo Methodist Church.

Mr. Crisman served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was co-owner of C&R Print Shop, Mason City. He worked for Woolverton Printing, Cedar Bulletin, and The Home Towner, retiring in 1998.

Survived by: his wife; a son, Jon (Carol) of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Sally Fagerlind of Webster City; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Sheryl (Bob) Sharp of Des Moines and Sue (Angelo) Schmidt of Cedar Falls; a brother, Dwight (Erika) of Chaska, Minn.; and a sister, Gerrie (Ken) Nelson, of Oklee, Minn.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Public visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and an hour before service Monday at the funeral home. Military honors will be conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49.
