WATERLOO - Lore Telepnev, 76, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 16, 1934, in Bad Hersfeld, Germany, daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth Jackob Siebert. She married Leo Telepnev on June 4, 1955, in Clinton.

Mrs. Telepnev grew up in Germany and at the age of 21 came to the United States.

Survived by: her husband; two sons, Troy (Heidi) of Newton and Lance (Julie) of Huntington Beach, Calif.; three grandchildren; and three sisters, Hilde Szesni and Irmel Harth, both of Bad Hersfeld, and Ann Siebert of Dallas.

Preceded in death by: two sisters, Ruth Patzel and Annegrete Legaspi.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
