WATERLOO - Kathryn G. McGrath, 102, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, at her home.

She was born Jan. 25, 1908, in Melrose, daughter of John and Mary Cummins McGrath.

She received a bachelor's and master's degrees from Iowa State University. She was a teacher at Contra Costa Community College in San Pablo, Calif. for 23 years, retiring in 1973.

Survived by: several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: two sisters, Mary Snyder and Helen Brown; and five brothers, Edmund, Herbert, Maurice, Dave and Joseph.

Inurnment: in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Melrose. There will be no services. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway assisted the family.
