CEDAR FALLS - Beatrice Catherine Pavelka, 76, of Cedar Falls, died at home Friday, Dec. 3.

She was born Oct. 8, 1934, daughter of Leo and Anna G. Vondracek Schleusner. She married Paul F. Pavelka on May 21, 1955, in Waterloo. He died Dec. 10, 2001.

Mrs. Pavelka was employed as a bookkeeper with area businesses, including Waterloo Welding, Standard Battery & Electric Co. and Younkers. She was in sales and antiquing at Calico Hen House.

Survived by: a daughter, Leanne (Craig) Neessen of Cedar Falls; and a grandson.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Helen Mae Sulentic; and a son, Greg.

Private family Services: were held in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Waterloo. Richardson Funeral Home assisted the family.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Bend Humane Society, Cedar Valley Hospice or St. Patrick Catholic Church.
