CEDAR FALLS — Margaret P. Zahari, 85, of Cedar Falls, died at home Friday, Nov. 26.

She was born Jan. 26, 1925, in Whiting, Ind., daughter of Andrew and Theresa Litecky Kalapach.

She married John S. Zahari on June 14, 1947, in Whiting. He died Feb. 14, 1996.

Survived by: three sons, John (Susan) of Marion, Matthew (Kim) of Cedar Falls and Carl (Naomi) of Patterson, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Derek, Blake and Skylar Zahari and Luke Zahari; a brother, Milton (Mary Ellen) Kalapach of Lafayette, Ind.; and a sister, Therese Desatnick of Whiting.

Preceded in death by: her parents; a brother; and a sister.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1530 Pleasant Valley Drive, Waterloo, with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. The family requests no flowers.
