WATERLOO - Margaret Mary "Marge" Anderson, 89, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness.

She was born Aug. 17, 1921, in Emmettsburg, daughter of Cyril T. and Josephine A. Schuller Conlon. She married H.S. Johnson on Feb. 2, 1943, and they were divorced. She later married Robert E. "Bob" Anderson on May 30, 1974. He died in 1988.

Survived by: four daughters, Janet Weber of Dunkerton, Shirlee (Michael) Tschiggfrie of Mount Vernon, Marsha (Tom) Zeien of La Porte City and Peggi Johnson of Waterloo; a son, Scott (Tammy) Johnson of West Des Moines; a stepson, Randy Anderson of San Gabriel, Calif.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Patrick Conlon of St. Peter, Minn.; a sister, Dorothy (Neil) Ouimett of Peoria, Ariz., and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: five brothers, Bernard Conlon, in infancy, and Joseph, Emmett, Bud and Gene Conlon; and a sister, Loretta George.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, Marion, assisted the family.

Memorials: may be directed to the family in her memory.

Marge enjoyed life and her family. She loved to golf, play cards and walked five miles a day.
