WATERLOO - Lois Evelyn Olsen Cory, 98, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Oct. 23, at Lakeview Landing.

She was born July 20, 1912, in Olin, daughter of Joseph A. and Emma L. Wilson Clay. She married Cleo B. Olsen on Aug. 12, 1935, in Davenport. He died Sept. 18, 1980. She married Marshall S. Cory July 21, 1984, in Nashua. He died Jan. 16, 1999.

She graduated from Iowa State Teachers College and taught at Kittrell School, retiring in 1973.

Survived by: a daughter, Joyce (Gary) Granneman of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Linda Olsen of Longboat Key, Fla.; three stepsons, Max (Darlene) Cory of Oelwein, Jim (Roseann) Cory and Richard Cory of Cedar Falls; two stepdaughters, Nancy (Clifford) Knudsen of Strawberry Point and Patsy (Alan) Clay of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a stepdaughter-in-law, Emille Ruth Cory of Jesup; a stepson-in-law, Vernon Jensen of Clovis, Calif.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 14 stepgrandchildren; and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a son, Larry Olsen; a stepson, Robert Cory; and a stepdaughter, Judith Jensen.

Private family Services: will take place. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to Kimball Avenue United Methodist Church and Friendship Village Women's Auxiliary.
