CEDAR FALLS - Lettye Lou Black, 90, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Oct. 22, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born Sept. 12, 1920, in Stanberry, Mo., daughter of Leonard H. and Mabel Morrison Pittsenbarger. She married William F. McNeese in Stanberry, Mo., in 1941. He died in November 1943 while serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. She married Louis H. Black in Derry, Pa., in 1946. He died in July 1992.

She graduated from Stanberry High School in 1937.

Survived by: a daughter, Fran L. (Richard) Beal of Cedar Falls; a grandson, Wayne (Teresa) Beal of Omaha, Neb.; a granddaughter, Leslie (Mat) Edstrom of Minnetonka, Minn.; and five great-grandchildren, Kelci, Alyssa, Nate, Braedyn and Alex.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, Mancel and Bobbie Pittsenbarger; and a sister, Beverly E. Pittsenbarger.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Cedar Heights Community Presbyterian Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Pennsylvania. Public visitation for an hour before services Monday at the church. Richardson Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the church.
