WATERLOO - Marion "Louise" Janssen, 73, of Waterloo, died Friday, Oct. 22, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Oct. 31, 1936, in Wolf Bayou, Ark., daughter of Ezra and Lois Simpson Martin. She married Cornelius John Janssen July 1, 1952, in Pacific Beach, Calif. He died Nov. 4, 1994.

She was a faithful Jehovah's Witness.

Survived by: three daughters, Cornelia Dennis of Waterloo, Rose Janssen of Cedar Falls and Diedra (Jack) Schons of Waterloo; two brothers, Philip (Julie) Martin of Arizona and Michael (Jerri) Martin of California; a sister, Marilyn (Kenny) Dodd of California; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: three sons, Chris, Carl and Craig Janssen; a brother, Owen; and a sister, Barbara.

Private inurnment: will be held at a later date. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
