WATERLOO — Richard Wayne Barber Jr., 44, of Waterloo, died Friday, Sept. 24, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of cancer.

He was born May 24, 1966, son of Linda Stattelman.

He attended Waterloo East High School. Mr. Barber worked for Warren Transport for many years.

Survived by: his mother, Linda of Newton; his wife, Jennifer of Waterloo; a brother, Robert of Waterloo; two sisters, Angela (Jack) Stanton of New Hampton and Angela (Chuck) Loudermilk of Newton; Krystal Hall of Waterloo; and his grandmother, Luella Hart of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his father, Gary Stattelman.

Memorial service: 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the VFW, 1406 Commercial St.
