Funeral services were held in Waterloo, Iowa at the Midwest Garden of Memories on Wednesday, October 30 at 11 a.m. for Goldie Marie Everett who died October 26, 1985 in Lincoln, Nebraska. *Place of burial is not given, but perhaps in Black Hawk County at the Garden of Memories Cemetery*

Goldie Marie was born November 20, 1901 in Wadena, Iowa, Fayette County to William Anson and Alice May (Hastings) Gardner. She married Sidney Everett on March 25, 1925 in Galena, Illinois. They lived in Waterloo, Iowa for a number of years and moved to the Lansing and Waukon, Iowa areas in Allamakee County in 1965.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sidney Everett who died in August of 1984; a daughter, Aletha Moore; a great-grandson; 3 brothers, Kenneth Gardner and Paul Gardner and a brother who died as an infant; and two sisters, Helen Freeman and a sister who died in infancy.

She is survived by a son, Harold Kroeger; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother William Gardner and a sister, Pauline Mitchell.
