CEDAR FALLS - Arthur LeRoy Anderson, 73, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Oct. 1, at his home of natural causes.

He was born Oct. 12, 1936, in Waterloo, son of Lester and Geraldine Anderson. He married Judith K. "Judy" Alton June 16, 1957, in Waterloo. She died May 18, 2008.

Mr. Anderson was a meat cutter at University Ave. Hy-Vee for more than 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survived by: two sons, Doug (Connie) Anderson of Voorhies and Mike (Kim) Anderson of Des Moines; two sisters, Vada Nunally and Leslie Draper, both of Waterloo; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Marie Bassett.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Hudson, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
