CEDAR FALLS - Susan Rhea Tackenberg-Shadowens, 54, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, Sept., 28, of ovarian cancer.

She was born Sept. 26, 1956, in Cedar Falls.

She worked at Standard Pacific Homes for many years.

Survived by: a son, Jeffery (Wendy) Shadowens; her mother, Jacquelene Cable; two brothers, Tom (Becky) Tackenberg and Terry Tackenberg; three sisters, Rita (Craig) Bastas, Sandra (Joe) Murphy and Robin (Randy) Savage; a grandson, Colton Quesada; seven nephews; and three nieces.

Services: 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home, Arlington, Texas, with burial in Moore Memorial Gardens. Public visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
