WATERLOO — Minnie "Lucille" Erb, 83, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Sept. 23, at Allen Hospital from complications of surgery.

She was born June 7, 1927, in Bear Creek, Ala., daughter of Veto and Rosa Lee Pickard Mann. She married Gerald Erb on Oct. 3, 1964, in Las Vegas.

Mrs. Erb was a homemaker.

Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Jo Ramos of Cedar Falls; two sons, Neal Frederick of Waterloo and Chris (Brenda) Erb of Blairs Mills, Pa.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Christeen Miller of Adrian, Mich., Geneva Santillanes of Cypress, Calif,. and Ruby McKee of Stanton, Calif.

Preceded in death by: a son, Kenny Frederick; a grandson; three brothers, Arthur, James "Hubert" and Charles "Short" Mann; and a sister, Gertrude Pope.

There will be no local service. Her body was cremated. Inurnment will be in Mountain Home Cemetery, Bear Creek, at a later date. Locke Funeral Home assisted the family.
