CEDAR FALLS — Eldon H. Wunder, 77, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Sept. 5, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, Minn.

He was born April 11, 1933, in Minden, son of Frank and Eola B. Borland Wunder. He married Delores Fisher in 1954, and they later divorced. He married Toni Asmus on Nov. 24, 1979, in Waverly.

Mr. Wunder served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He graduated from Shelby High School in 1950; from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 1954; and received his MBA from the University of Northern Iowa in 1978. He was a pharmacist at Rolf Memorial Clinic in Waverly, Bergs College Drugs in Cedar Falls and with Wal-Mart, retiring in 2008.

Survived by: his wife; two daughters, Heidi Bodensteiner of Coralville and Emilie Wunder of Cedar Falls; a son, John (Ann) of Muscatine; four grandchildren, Jon, Elizabeth and Julie Wunder and Sarah Bodensteiner; and his twin sister, Eleanor (Phil) Groth of Pella.

Preceded in death by: his parents; a daughter, Erica Wunder; and two brothers, Frank Jr. and Robert.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
