WATERLOO - Shirley N. Williams, 77, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Aug. 19, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. She was born June 18, 1933, in Des Moines, daughter of David E. and Gertrude Campbell Reese. She married Roger C. Williams Dec. 5, 1952, in Des Moines.

She graduated form East Waterloo High School in Des Moines in 1951. Mrs. Williams worked for the DOT in the drivers license department, retiring in 1982. She was active in the Ottumwa Regional Hospital Auxiliary, where she served as president. She also served on the hospital board.

Survived by: her husband; two daughters, Kathy (Craig) Goehrig of Waterloo and Marna (Tom) Onnen of Valencia, Calif.; five grandchildren, Kelly (Brian) Deimerly, Kacey (Joel) Ball, Melissa (Ryan) Chaddick, and Michael and Melanie Onnen; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Nathan Deimerly; and a brother, Ernie Reese of Pella.

Preceded in death by: a brother, David Reese; and a sister, Jeanette Piagentini.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls.
