WATERLOO - Margaret Irene Baskerville, 81, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born July 7, 1929, in St. Louis, Mo., daughter of Fetus Powel and Augustine Cooper. She married Silas Baskerville Sr. in July of 1948. He died in 1967.

She was formerly employed at Rath Packing Co., Waterloo schools, UNICUE and was a probation officer.

Survived by: four daughters, Victoria (the Rev. Floyd) Brown of Sioux City, Karen Baskerville of Tusla, Okla., Valda Henderson of Waterloo and Margarite Anne of Waterloo; two sons, Wayne (Sharon) of Matteson, Ill., and Silas Jr. (Valerie) of Round Lake, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and her husband.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Antioch Baptist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Sanders Funeral Service, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the family at 743 Willow St., Waterloo, where they will be receiving friends.
