WATERLOO - Rodger L. Williams, 75, of Camelot in Waterloo, died Wednesday, June 18, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center of cancer.

He was born June 1, 1935, in Humboldt, son of Ray and Betilla Olena Bjelland Williams.

Mr. Williams was a bricklayer for Local 28 for 41 years, retiring in 1987.

Survived by: a sister, Mary Lou (Marvin) Braun of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his parents; a brother, Charles; and two sisters, Loretta Holbach and Nelda Macomber.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home. Graveside military rites will be conducted by Becker-Chapman American Legion Post 138 and VFW Post 1623.

Memorials: may be directed to Trinity American Lutheran Church.

Rodger liked using his metal detector and digging sapphires in Montana.
