WATERLOO - Laurel Mae "Lolly" Wilson Youngblut, 71, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 27, 1939, at Allen Hospital, daughter of Donald and Ruby Harper Wilson. She married Norris Youngblut on Jan. 23, 1959, in Galena, Ill.

She graduated from West Waterloo High School in 1957. She and her husband farmed near Dunkerton for many years, and she was a homemaker.

Survived by: her husband; two sons, Steven Youngblut of Waterloo and David (Lori) Youngblut of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren, Zachary of Waterloo and Tadley, Zoey and Timothy Youngblut, all of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Jean (Joseph) Williamson of Normal, Ill.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, Arnold Wilson and her twin brother, Larry Wilson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.

Lolly was an avid Jeff Gordon NASCAR fan, loved the Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers, until they released her favorite quarterback, Brett Favre. She learned to like the Minnesota Vikings. Lolly loved animals, especially cats and squirrels, and two special pigs that she cared for while on the farm. Lolly enjoyed bowling and playing cards, especially Pepper. Lolly will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
