WATERLOO — Robert E. Reynolds, 78, of Marshalltown, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, Aug. 9, at Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, of natural causes.

He was born June 23, 1932, in Waterloo, son of Warren and Lena Buehler Reynolds. He married JoAnn Mary Brown Sept. 12, 1958, in Waterloo. She died March 1, 1985.

Mr. Reynolds worked at the Big "T" Super Market and later was a truck driver for Peterman & Haes for several years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survived by: a daughter, Joni Jackson (Steve Bradford) of Waterloo; a son, Jim Reynolds of Davenport; and three grandchildren.

Services: 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Orange Township Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Evansdale AMVETS Post 31, Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Waterloo Army National Guard First Battalion 133rd Infantry. Public visitation from 10 a.m. until services Thursday at the funeral home.
