WATERLOO - Steve Meyer, 39, of Phoenix, formerly from Waterloo, died July 14 at home.

He was born Nov. 3, 1970, in Waterloo.

Steve was everyone's friend, would do anything for anyone, and was loved by all. He was involved professionally in advertising and marketing. Steve attended Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy from kindergarten through seventh grade. He completed his education in Phoenix.

Survived by his father, John of Parkersburg; his mother, Sally Shinn of Phoenix; his brother, John of Omaha, Neb.; and two sisters, Lisa D'Angelo and Laura Gunkel of Phoenix.

A memorial/celebration service will be held on Aug. 14 at Desert Springs Community Church, 14440 W. Indian School Road, Goodyear, AZ 85395. Plans are to have a memorial/celebration service at a later date in Waterloo.
