WATERLOO - Sharon K. Lampman, 68, of Waterloo, died Thursday, July 21, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of cancer.

She was born Dec. 6, 1941, in Oelwein, daughter of Norman and Frances Hannaman Geary.

She married Dale Robert Lampman on Feb. 25, 1961, at Falls Avenue Wesleyan Methodist Church.

Mrs. Lampman was a 1960 graduate of East Waterloo High School. She was employed at Powers Manufacturing for 47 years, retiring recently because of her health.

Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Lisa (Robert) Wood of Farmington, Minn; two sons, Dana (Evon) of Bryan, Texas, and Ben (Renee) of Omaha, Neb.; 10 grandchildren, Brenda, Erika, Erin and Ryan Wood and Cierra, Ben Robert, Ryan, Sharolyn, Nathan and Devon Lampman; a great-granddaughter, Mercedes Moulton; two sisters, Danette (Steve) Ravn of Cedar Falls and Sabrina (Mike) Queen of Burleson, Texas; and a brother, Dennis (Bonnie) Geary of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: her parents; an infant brother; and two sisters, Jean Dinius and Marcia Johnson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hagarty–Waychoff–Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway. Public visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, and for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice, American Cancer Society or to the family.

Nothing was more important to Sharon than her love for her family members and her fellow employees.
