DUNKERTON - Thelma Pullin, 76, of Waterloo, formerly of Dunkerton, died Friday, July 16, at Rosewood Estate.

She was born April 1, 1934, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Harold and Blanche Larson Morgensen. She married Richard A. Pullin July 10, 1954, in Cedar Falls. He died April 23, 2009.

She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1952. She was a telephone operator for 36 years for Northwest Bell and AT&T.

Survived by: a daughter, Diane (Rod) Platte of Waterloo; a son, Stephan (Jan) Pullin of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Dusty (Jenny) Platte, Angie (Curt) Bovy and Tim Pullin; and two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Samuel Platte.

Preceded in death by: his parents; a stepfather, Joe Robinson; and a brother, Richard Morgensen.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
