WATERLOO - David Williams Jr., 48, of Waterloo, died Monday, July 12, at his residence of natural causes pending results of Iowa State Medical Examiner evaluation.

He was born Sept. 7, 1961, in Mobile, Ala., son of David and Janie Griffin Williams Sr.

He graduated from C.F. Vigor High School in Prichard, Ala. Mr. Williams worked construction most of his life and attended Community Southern Baptist Church at Waterloo.

Survived by: his mother, Janie M. Johnson of Pascagoula, Miss.; three sons, Quentin and Antwuan Williams, both of Waterloo, and David Williams III of Mobile, Ala.; two daughters, Cornisha Williams of Waterloo and Danisha Williams of Mobile; three brothers, Jessie Williams of Waterloo, Rufus Leonard of Pascagoula, Miss., and Horace (Tonya) Williams II of Mobile; three sisters, Priscilla Cunningham of Waterloo, Margaret (Jay) Jordan of Pascagoula and Janie M. Davis of Mobile; and nine grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: his father; a brother, Lawrence Griffin; and a sister, Gaynelle Roberts.

Services: Saturday at Reese Funeral Home, 925 Bessemer Ave. Prichard, Ala., with burial in Plateau Cemetery Mobile, Alabama. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Greer Funeral Home.
