WATERLOO — Lana Marie Morgan, 67, of Waterloo, died Sunday, June 27, at Allen Hospital of cancer.

She was born July 3, 1942, in Waterloo, daughter of Russell and Arlene Birum Bussey. She married Harold "Bud" Morgan on July 2, 1960, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Morgan graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1960. She was a homemaker for numerous years, then worked in the Waterloo school system for 22 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Rambling Wheels Motorcycle Club, Waterloo Historic Society and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survived by: her husband; two sons, Brad (Michelle) of Waterloo and Sgt. Major Barry (Tina) Morgan of Oceanside, Calif.; a daughter, Becky (Marshall) Morrill of Waverly; five grandchildren, Megan Lea Morgan, Jacob Thor Morgan, Morgan Marie Morrill, Maverick Dean Mulford and Megan Michelle Mulford; a brother, Tom (Sue) Bussey of Nashua; and a brother-in-law, Clarence Newville of Evansdale.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a sister, Sally Newville.

Public visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, with family present. At her request, her body was cremated.

Memorials: may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Lana could often be found sewing, scrapbooking, crafting, quilting or spending a weekend with the family camping. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
