WATERLOO - Lorena S. Troupe, 61, of Waterloo, died Saturday, June 19, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Nov. 10, 1948, in Waterloo, daughter of Theory and Vera Morse McNamee. She married Ross Troupe on April 7, 1979, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Troupe taught kindergarten at Heritage Christian Academy, Milwaukee, and was a media specialist at Walnut Ridge Academy.

Survived by: her husband, three sons, Matthew (Grace) of Winchester, Va., Aaron of Marshalltown and Ruben of Waterloo; a daughter, Joyce (Russell Pierpont) Troupe of Cleveland; a brother, Gaven (Jewel) McNamee of Yuma, Ariz.; and two sisters, Joyce McNamee of Waterloo, and Vera (Harry) Morgan of Lancaster, Pa.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Dunkerton. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the Children's Ministry Fund of the church.
