DUNKERTON - John Carson Lambert III, 60, of Dunkerton, died at home Wednesday, June 16.

He was born June 22, 1949, in Waterloo, son of John Carson II and Lena Tena Hippen Lambert. He married Beverly Bilski on Nov. 1, 1972, in Waterloo.

Mr. Lambert worked as a pattern maker for 32 years, retiring from American Pattern. He also had worked at K&P Pattern and Manning Pattern. He also served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.

Survived by: his wife; a son, John Carson IV (Toni) of Waterloo; a daughter, Jennifer (Ross) Foulk of Waterloo; seven grandchildren, Katie, Kensie, Kristie, Alex, John Carson Lambert V, Jakob and Riley John; and two sisters, Joan (Larry) Wasserfort and Judy (Duane) Boyles, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his parents; maternal grandparents, Adolph and Helkalena Hippen; and paternal grandparents, John Carson I and Lora Bell Lambert.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with military rites by Evansdale AMVETS Post 31. Public visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and for an hour before services Monday at the funeral chapel.
