WEST UNION - Kerry Halva-Cash, 40, of West Union, died Monday, June 15, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, of a pulmonary embolism.

She was born Dec. 5, 1969, in Waterloo, daughter of Gary and Karen Gulick Halva. She married William Cash in March 1995, and they later divorced.

She graduated from North Fayette High School in 1988 and from Cornell College, Mount Vernon, in 1992. She was active in "Iowa's Child" fostering program.

Survived by: two sons, Danny and Tracy, both at home; two daughters, Savannah and Caroline, both at home; her parents of West Union; her grandmother, Jeanne Gulick of Vinton; a sister, Jessica (Aaron) Slavo of Queen Creek, Ariz.; and her fiance, Mathew Krull of West Union.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Tracy.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, West Union, with burial in West Union Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Burnham-Wood Funeral Home, West Union.
