CEDAR FALLS - James Paul Kerley, 61, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, June 10, in Orlando of a back injury.

He was born July 3, 1948, in Cedar Falls, son of Michael and Norma Kerley.

Mr. Kerley graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1966 and was a ranger in Nebraska and a state agent in Miami.

Survived by: his mother of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a sister, Trish Sill of Scottsdale; a brother, Michael Kerley of Fort Pierce, Fla.; an aunt and uncle, Las and Velma Clay of Orlando, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his father; and his grandmother, Alma Taylor.

Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Lake Howell Bible Chapel, Orlando.

Memorials: may be directed to Newcomber Funeral Home, Orlando.

James will be missed by many.
