WATERLOO - Renee Dubuc, 86, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 15, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born Jan. 30, 1924, in Henin-Beaumont, France, daughter of Edmond and Suzanne Bocquet Berthe. She married Jean "John" Dubuc Feb. 7, 1949, in France.

Mrs. Dubuc graduated from school in France. She and her husband were butchers in France until settling in America in 1968. She then worked as a cook at the Ramada Inn in the 1970s and worked as a welder at Waterloo Industries for 20 years.

Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Martine Dubuc of Waterloo; a son, Philippe of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Joshua Dubuc, Amanda Durnin and Heather Quail; two great-grandchildren, Haley Durnin and Melisa; and a sister, Yvette (Roger) Lagache of France.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and three sisters, Edmonde Lagache, Josette Leconte and Lillian Wilson.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
