WATERLOO - Debora Kay Wise, 51, of Waterloo, died Thursday, May 6, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 10, 1958, in Waterloo, the daughter of John E. and Ernestine Anderson Wise Sr.

She was formerly employed at Hy-Vee.

Survived by: her mother, Ernestine Wise of Waterloo; a daughter, Shemia Wise of Waterloo; a son, Dontavious Wise of Waterloo; a brother, John (Lenora) Wise Jr. of Three Rivers, Mich.; seven sisters, Marjorie (Cedric) Webb of Raytown, Mo., Ruby (George) Gary of Waterloo, Delores (Lester) Beaman of Waterloo, Rosie (Willie) Jackson of Waterloo, Patricia (John) Wise-Spates of Waterloo, Angela (Hubert) Moore of Waterloo and Carolyn (Albert) Wise-Mayo of Waterloo; and eight grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: her father; and a son, Deontrae.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Union Baptist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the family at 1702 Easton Ave., where they will be receiving friends. Sander's Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
