WATERLOO - Linda DeAnn Anderson Siemers, 64, of Waterloo, died Friday, April 23, at Allen Hospital following a long illness.

She was born Oct. 24, 1945, in Minneapolis, daughter of Francis and Dolores Randolph Anderson. She married Donald Siemers on May 12, 1989, in Las Vegas.

Mrs. Siemers attended school in St. Louis Park, Minn., and later at Hawkeye Community College. She was a certified nursing assistant with Seramed Biocenter and Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center and was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Shannon Schoonover of Cedar Falls; three stepsons, Chris (Carin) Siemers of Temecula, Calif., Mike (Rebecca) Siemers of Tustin, Calif., and Brian (Shannon) Siemers of Anaheim, Calif.; two grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; and a sister, Sharon (Ric) Herrera of Old Hickory, Tenn.

Preceded in death by: her parents.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, preceded by an hour of visitation. Her body will be cremated.

Memorials: may be directed to the family.

Linda enjoyed bike riding, flower gardening and visiting the casino to play the slot machines
