WATERLOO - Lois Irene Keene "Fluff" Hansen, 94, of Waterloo, died Friday, April 23, at her home of natural causes.

She was born on April 5, 1916, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Theron and Irene House Keene. She married Elvie Krager in Waterloo in 1940. He preceded her in death. She married Walter Hansen in 1991 at West Brook Village, Glendale, Ariz.

She attended school in Cedar Falls and at the University of Northern Iowa. She taught kindergarten in Holstein and Waterloo. She was a gemologist with Newton's Jewelers.

Survived by: her husband, Walter.

Preceded in death by: her first husband; and a brother, Eugene Keene.

Services: no services or visitation are being planned. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, An Overton Family Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to the family.

She enjoyed walking, traveling, dancing and working with small children. Lois was a very forgiving, compassionate and caring individual and will be missed by all who knew her.
