WATERLOO - Richard Dan "Dick" Litteaur, 79, of Waterloo, died Friday, April 23, at Covenant Medical Center of multiple myeloma.

He was born Dec. 20, 1930, in Minneapolis, son of Ernest Henry and Juanita Naomi Myers Litteaur. He married Joyce Linn on June 13, 1954 in Reno, Nev.

He worked at Rath Packing Co. for 34 years, retiring in 1984. For the last 28 years, he sold fruits and vegetables at the Waterloo Downtown Farmer's Market. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict.

Survived by: his wife, Joyce; three sons, Bruce (Judy) of Austin, Texas, Mark and Adam of Waterloo; and three grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a daughter, Lucy.

There will be no services or visitation. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel is assisting the family.
