Rose T. "Posy" Sells (1922-2010)

CEDAR FALLS - Rose T. "Posy" Sells, 87, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, April 22, at her home.

She was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Waterloo, daughter of Eldon and Edith Fenner Grapp. She married Harry R. Sells on Aug. 16, 1941, in Cedar Falls. He died June 25, 2002.

Survived by: two daughters, Jeanette (Merv) Thomas and JoAnne (Paul) Johnson of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren, Kelli (John) Burgin, Kevin Johnson, Kreg Johnson, Kurt (Jennifer) Klammer and Kent Klammer; 10 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Lyle (Darlene) Grapp and Darrell "Rudy" (Linda) Grapp of Cedar Falls, Gerald (Kathy) Grapp of Waterloo and Warren (Nancy) Grapp of Missouri; four sisters, Ethel Barth of Denver, Colo., Marjorie (Raynor) Marshall of Woolstock, Darlene (Wayne) Herzog of Cedar Falls and Geraldine (Kenny) Hansen of Evansdale; and a very dear cousin, Barbara Stock.

Preceded in death by: four sisters, Vearl Gilliland, Violet Fairbanks, Alice Lancaster and Edith "Betty" Fisher; and two brothers, Donald and Robert Grapp.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
