Gretchen was born Sept. 13th, 1929, in Waterloo, IA to Emma Kehe Smith and Ralph Smith, and she passed on to her heavenly Father on April 14th, 2010.

We will miss Gretchen's mischievous smile, her generous spirit, and her "let's have a party" attitude.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Floyd Mueller, and brother and sister-in-law Richard and Emmeline Howe.

She was married to Floyd on July 19th, 1952. They lived in Houston and San Antonio, McLean, Va., and Lawton, Okla. before settling in Dallas in 1968.

She is survived by her children; Harvey Mueller & wife Jennifer of Irving; Teresa Guy of Garland; Priscilla O'Sullivan & husband Pete of BlackHawk, Colo.; six grandchildren Steven & Sarah Mueller, Kristina & Jason Guy, Katelyne & Sterling O'Sullivan; sister Vernett Bredow & husband Virgil of Eden Prairie, Minn.; and sister-in-law Kathleen Cuddy & husband Bill of New Braunfels.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 1st at 1:30 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 10101 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas. Memorials should be made to the church.
