WATERLOO - Luella G. Reeves, 77, of Waterloo, died Saturday, April 17, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of a long illness.

She was born Nov. 10, 1932, in Traer, daughter of Bill and Ethel Mae Dobson Hendershot. She married Roy Reeves on July 3, 1951.

She graduated from Traer High School in 1951 and Gates Business School in Waterloo. She worked at Rath Packing Co. and was a bookkeeper at KWWL-TV for more than 30 years, retiring in May, 1995. She was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church.

Survived by: her husband, Roy; a daughter, Missy (Jim) Wickerath of Nevada; a granddaughter, Danielle Edwards; and three brothers, Alvin (Shirley) and Donny (Vonnie) Hendersot, both of Waterloo and Frank (Joyce) Hendershot of Jacksonville, Fla.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Marlyn Hendershot; and three sisters, Beulah Haefner, Doris Lundak and Marian Drilling.

Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
