CEDAR FALLS - Charles C. "Chuck" Frandsen, 62, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, April 8, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center, Waterloo.

He was born Aug. 11, 1947, in Cedar Falls, son of Clarence E. and Doris C. Hubert Frandsen. He was a 1966 graduate of Northern University High School, and had served in U.S. Army during Vietnam. Mr. Frandsen had been employed by H&H Tool and Die, IBP, and Canfield Lumber, and was a member of the Gem and Rock Society.

Survived by: his companion, Debra Lowrey of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Shelly (Elmer) Miller of Waterloo; a son, Phillip (Angie) Lowery of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Alisha Fry, Adrianna, Tyler and Thomas Miller, and Quinn Lowery; and a nephew, David Sturm.

Preceded in death by: his parents; a grandson, Sean E. Lowery; and two sisters, Karen Frandsen and Barbara Garrison.

Family-directed memorial services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Bible Church, where military honors will be conducted by the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49 Honor Guard. Richardson Funeral Home assisted the family.
