CEDAR FALLS - Beulah Arlene Rockey, 86, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, April 5, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

She was born July 27, 1923, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Earl and Clara Christensen Hughes. She married John Alva Rockey on June 11, 1943, in Cedar Falls. He died June 23, 1970.

Mrs. Rockey was a longtime Younkers employee.

Survived by: a son, Rex (JoAnn) of Dike; a foster daughter, Debra (Joe) McIlhon of Bloomingdale, Ill.; two foster grandchildren; a brother, Harlan (Marlys) Hughes of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Juanita (Fred) Rekers, of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Harriett Hughes.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
